What started out as a prolonged case of blogger’s block turned into something of an experiment. I decided to take a year away from my blog — OK, a day short of a year just so I could hold it over Christopher’s head — to get some perspective. I found that there were definitely some things that I missed, times that I’d find myself thinking, “Man, I would love to go blog that.” But there were things that I didn’t really miss at all.

So now I’m going to be getting back into the swing of things, probably slowly at first but with a better appreciation for why I’m doing this. Don’t toss me on the wagon yet. I feel happy.
