I declare the war in Iraq officially over

According to the rules of Usenet I hereby invoke Godwin’s Law:
Reuters - Leaving Iraq now would be the same as handing postwar Germany back to the Nazis, U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said in a column published on Sunday, as retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul Eaton called Rumsfeld incompetent and urged him to resign.
“Turning our backs on postwar Iraq today would be the modern equivalent of handing postwar Germany back to the Nazis,” Rumsfeld wrote in an essay published in The Washington Post on the third anniversary of the start of the Iraq war.

I had never heard of Godwin’s law, but it is so very true…even if I think you’re a bit of a fascist for invoking. Very Hitler-esque of you. [Honestly, just playing with the newly learned law; I don’t really think you’re a fascist]
Hey Porter (or Andrew, I’m not really sure), I found your “workshop” page last week and am trying to use the “Better” Standards-based Replacement for target=”_blank” in External Links but found that if you wrap the anchor tag around an image it opens up a blank window but it doesn’t follow the link. I couldn’t find a contact address for you anywhere on your site but hopefully you’ll find this and send me an email if you can fix this problem. Thanks a lot man.

P.S. Sorry about your son :(
Could the conversation have continued if he had said, “Turning our backs on postwar Iraq today would be the modern equivalent of handing postwar Vietnam over to the Vietcong…” oh wait… that’s what we did.
